NAHCC is a voluntary organisation and relies on voluntary membership from professional association and state based groupings of allied health practitioners. NAHCC evolved today from its previous status as an Australian government funded peak body with a secretariat formerly located at RMIT University, Melbourne. In 2003 the Australian Government ceased its funding of the secretariat. The support for the executive and full committee of NAHCC was then provided by the national headquarters of the Australian Psychological Society in Melbourne. The contact details and personnel of the committee can be found under the Executive Support. The Executive Support provides voluntary administrative services to NAHCC and its various committees and acts as a clearinghouse for the dissemination of information to NAHCC members and other relevant groups. The office aims to be the major contact point for external agencies seeking Allied Health involvement or information on Allied Health classification and data matters. Department of Health and Ageing Casemix Conference 2008 The Department of Health and Ageing Casemix Conference ‘The Casemix Evolution: extending the boundaries’ will be held 16-19 November 2008 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, South Australia. Casemix-based funding is the dominant form of funding of public hospitals in many states and territories in Australia. Casemix aims to fund on individual outcomes, rather than on a historical level of funding. The conference aims to view casemix in a holistic manner, across acute, sub-acute and non-acute sectors.
