Department of Health and Ageing Casemix Conference 2008 The Department of Health and Ageing Casemix Conference ‘The Casemix Evolution: extending the boundaries’ will be held 16-19 November 2008 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, South Australia. Casemix-based funding is the dominant form of funding of public hospitals in many states and territories in Australia. Casemix aims to fund on individual outcomes, rather than on a historical level of funding. The conference aims to view casemix in a holistic manner, across acute, sub-acute and non-acute sectors.
